therapy for Perinatal & Parenthood Support
The perinatal and parenthood journey can bring profound joy alongside anxiety, grief, overwhelm, and unexpected identity shifts. Whether you’re trying to conceive, pregnant, postpartum, or navigating early parenthood, it’s common to feel unsteady—even when things are “going well.” Many people also experience ambivalence about whether or not they want to have children, and these mixed feelings are both valid and worthy of care.
Therapy offers a steady, nonjudgmental space to process the emotional, physical, and relational changes that come with this stage of life. Our work supports both your nervous system and your evolving sense of self, helping you stay grounded while everything around you—and within you—is changing.
In our work together, you may focus on:
Navigating anxiety, mood shifts, and emotional overwhelm
Processing identity changes and the loss of your pre-parent self
Working through ambivalence, grief, or uncertainty around becoming a parent
Strengthening self-trust and confidence in your instincts
Creating emotional steadiness amid sleep deprivation and increased responsibility
As a new mother myself, I bring both clinical training and lived understanding to this work. This perspective allows me to meet clients with added attunement, realism, and compassion—without assumptions about how this experience “should” feel.
The goal is not to be a perfect parent, but to feel supported, resourced, and grounded as you move through this deeply transformative chapter.
