Virtual therapy for high-achieving New Yorkers.

You’ve done the work. You’ve read the books, tried the therapy, built the self-awareness. And still — something isn’t shifting.

Maybe it’s a pattern that keeps showing up in your relationships. A ceiling you keep bumping against. A change in your body or your energy that insight alone hasn’t touched.

This is therapy for people who already know themselves pretty well — and are ready to go somewhere new.

Why In Good Energy Is Different

Here’s the thing about insight: it’s necessary, but it’s not sufficient. You can know exactly why you do something — trace it back to childhood, name the pattern, understand the trigger — and still find yourself doing it anyway. That gap between knowing and changing is real. And it’s where most therapy stops.

This work doesn’t stop there. Sessions draw on three frameworks, each reaching a different layer: CBT for the conscious mind — the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns you can identify and restructure. Psychodynamic work for the deeper story — the relational templates and early-life dynamics that quietly shape how you move through the world. And clinical hypnotherapy for what lives beneath both — the subconscious patterns that don’t respond to reasoning alone.

Amanda holds both a clinical license and extensive in-person clinical hypnotherapy diploma, a rarity in the field of mental health. Most people advertising hypnotherapy in New York — while skilled at what they do — are technically hypnotists, not licensed clinicians. Without a mental health license, one can’t diagnose, treat, or work with mental health conditions therapeutically or offer superbills for partial health insurance reimbursement. This practice is built on the integration of both and it’s why the work moves differently.

Amanda K. Reilly, LMHC, CCHT earned her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from NYU and has spent eight years doing this work inside some of New York’s more demanding environments — supporting high-performers at Red Bull and SoHo House, and working clinically at Hudson Medical in the West Village.

She knows what it looks like to operate at a high level and quietly struggle underneath it. That’s not an assumption — it’s the through line of almost every client she works with.
